Minors

The Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies offers three interdisciplinary minors with a focus on sustainability. A minor programme covers 30 ECTS, consists of a combination of required and elective courses, and can help to broaden or deepen the knowledge gained during the Bachelor's programme.

This minor provides you with new perspectives by exploring new lines of thinking from different disciplines across the faculties of the UvA and allows you to rethink what a sustainable society would or should look like.

Do you want to shape the future of food and become a change-maker? This minor challenges you to think of solutions for a sustainable food system. You will work in an interdisciplinary team on a food-related project.
