In the coming years, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (IIS) is going to focus on shaping societal transitions. By teaching the future generation of academics to look beyond the borders of their discipline and to integrate different areas of expertise, they will come into contact with knowledge and skills that are necessary to make a contribution to the complex challenges our society is facing. Read more about the educational ambitions of the IIS here

Take part!

The IIS is a testing ground for transition-focused education. The IIS can and wants to allow students and lecturers to experiment in a safe, small-scale setting with close contact. A bottom-up approach is essential to this, for example on the basis of co-creation with lecturers, students and other partners. Furthermore, the IIS will also make use of the opportunities that hybrid forms of learning offer to make international classrooms, involve experts and offer broader accessible education. Feel free to contact us if you have ideas to work together with us on this innovation agenda. We look forward to it!
