Until November 18, 12:00, the UvA community could vote on ten ideas from the Create a Course Challenge. A total of 839 students and employees of the UvA voted for the course that they believe should be developed as a new interdisciplinary elective. The five ideas with the most votes go to the finals on November 28 at De Brug, Roeterseiland.

Anyone with a UvA ID could vote for his or her top 3 in order of rating (vote 1: 3 points, vote 2: 2 points and vote 3: 1 point).

The finalists are:
-    The Meaning of Life in a World without Work (736 points)
-    (Ir)rationality of Man (724 points)
-    The politics of Fashion (581 points)
-    Posthumans In the Anthropocene (564 points)
-    Environ Mental Health (546 points)

Finals
During the finals on Thursday 28 November at De Brug on Roeterseiland, the jury decides which entry will be rewarded with the realisation of the elective course. The winner may then immediately start working as a student assistant in the development of the course. After the finals, we all toast to the winner!

The event is freely accessible to all interested parties and is from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
