Every semester, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies works hard to maintain the variety of interdisciplinary electives, available to all students from the entire UvA, to keep them up-to-date, socially relevant and stimulating. In addition to a number of old acquaintances, newly developed titles are also on the programme for the upcoming semester: ‘Sexology’, ‘Queer Planet’ and ‘Posthumans in the Anthropocene’ (winner of Create a Course Challenge 2019).
