The IIS offers a range of interdisciplinary Honours modules for students who want to get more out of their degree programme. These modules are open to students from the UvA, the Amsterdam University College (AUC) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). How can we detect, analyse, identify, and assess arguments in given contexts? What are the ethical challenges and opportunities posed by digital communication tools? [September - November] -
Games and Decisions (6 ECTS)
How to fairly allocate prize money or ad revenue? What is the power of political parties in a democracy? And how to decide whether a company should advertise or not? [October - February] -
