Advisory Board

The Master's programme in Forensic Science has an advisory board with representatives from all parts of the forensic process with the purpose of aligning our programme even better with the demands of the forensic field, and discussing our programme and plans with a group of representatives from the field.

The members of the board are:

  • Gert de Boeck, Director of Operations at the National Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC), Brussels, Belgium
  • Christophe Champod, Professor of Forensic Science at University of Lausanne, Switzerland
  • Floor Dussel, Forensic advisor at the court of Oost-Brabant\Rechtbank Overijssel (alumni of the master)
  • Marcia Fissette, Data Scientist at Team High Tech Crime of the Dutch Police (alumni of the master)
  • Jan de Koeijer, Team leader Interdisciplinary Forensic Research at Netherlands Forensic Institute
  • Simon Minks, Senior public prosecutor at the court of appeal The Hague
  • Chris Pellemans, theme manager research and innovation Dutch National Police
  • Christianne de Poot, Professor of Forensic Science, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Police Academy; Professor of Criminalistics, VU University Amsterdam
