Mathematics Certificate Courses
If you already scheduled your mathematics certificate course, please upload a proof of registration or your results from the mathematics certificate course in your application. Without a sufficient mathematic certificate score, your application will be rejected.
The type of mathematics certificate course you need depends on your chosen Bachelor’s programme.

Mathematics certificate courses for the Bachelor's Business Administration or Economics and Business Economics
Both the Business Administration and Economics and Business Economics programmes require mathematics proficiency equivalent to at least Dutch vwo mathematics A. The following institutes offer a mathematics certificate course which meets this requirement:
Only available offline in The Netherlands:
- CCVX Mathematics A - Students must score at least a 6.0.
- State Exam Registration in Dutch (registration deadline 31 December) - Students must score at least a 6.0.
Available online and offline (in the Netherlands):
- James Boswell Bèta Mathematics A Certificate - Students must score at least a 5.5.
- Korteweg de Vries Mathematics A Certificate - Students will only receive a certificate if they passed the Certificate Course.
- OMPT-F Students must score at least 60%, and are permitted only one attempt for this programme.

Mathematics certificate courses for the Bachelor's Actuarial Science, Econometrics and Data Science and Business Analytics
The Actuarial Science, Econometrics and Data Science and Business Analytics programmes require mathematics proficiency equivalent to at least Dutch vwo mathematics B. Only the following mathematics certificate courses are sufficient:
Only available offline in The Netherlands:
- CCVX Mathematics B - Students must score at least a 6.0.
- State Exam Registration in Dutch (registration deadline 31 December) - Students must score at least a 6.0.
Please note that we do not accept the mathematics B certificate from Korteweg-de Vries institute or James Boswell Bèta.
