In this course we will try to find your road to freedom and to empower you to take (back) the reins. Personal leadership is about mastering your life and the ability to inspire, influence and move both yourself and others. It is about experiment, taking risks and challenging yourself and others, but just as much about creating the safe environment needed to reflect and anchor what you have learned.
In this respect it is crucial to find out how your past has shaped you, in which areas of life you are already in the lead and where you are not, and where you want to go next. In our meetings we want to map out where people come from and where they want to go. In this landscape we want to explore the forces inside and outside themselves (internalized messages from the past, expectations of parents/society, ambition, uncertainty and so on) and to what extent she (or he) has authorship over her own life.
By means of various reflection exercises and action exercises, we want to find out what someone’s next intended destination is, what obstacles are in the way and what resistance she encounters. We then want to make that resistance manageable, so that someone can make the choice to take ownership of this specific area. We want to enrich the areas where she experiences authorship through experiments in imagination and action.
